Hello everyone, Iām planning a trip to Israel for early October. My plan is to stay for about 4 days, arrive and leave to Tel Aviv by airplane. Spend a day or so in Jerusalem and nearby places. I want to know if going right now is safe because I donāt know the real situation there. I would appreciate if anyone can give me any tips or advice.
After being unable to contact the British embassy in Tel Aviv, and being told by a consulate in London that Tel Aviv was "a safe place to be", the pair decided to go to the airport to try to get home.
Is Tel Aviv safe? Yes, it is. Very much so. You can walk in central Tel Aviv, day or night and feel very safe. Jaffa is safe as well and very touristy. Tel Aviv is a fantastic walking city . The only area in Tel Aviv which locals tend to avoid after dark is that of the Old Central Bus Station.
It covers most of the territory and links major cities, such as Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Jerusalem. The Gaza Strip and some parts of the West Bank are not covered. In order to access train stations, you will have to pass a security check. The Light Rail in Jerusalem is considered safe from Mount Herzl station up to French Hill station.
With the Israeli governmentās unwavering commitment to security and the cityās robust infrastructure, residents and tourists can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Tel Aviv while staying safe. Staying informed, exercising caution, and following security guidelines will ensure a pleasurable and secure visit to this enchanting Mediterranean city.
