After inserting this module remembers the electronics for starting your vehicle automatically the last setting of the start-stop system (either ON or OFF) and the vehicle automatically switches back to this mode. I disabled it but this caused a constant warning to appear on the dash along with an annoying warning beep..I was not able to find an option to disable this annoying warning, so had to re-enable the stop start.

I'm not massively bothered about a permanent disable via vcds as long as it's easy to turn off for the journey. On our company Astras you simply press a button on the dash at the start of the journey.
2017 sounds a year early for your battery to begin failing. But you could try putting the car on charge for a few hours, if the stop/start works for a while after that then that would point to the battery. My 2016 Yeti started not doing stop/start a few months ago and a charge up got it going again for a while.
ESC stabilisation control. I then got another message - 'stop start error'. The tyre pressure light also came on. I turned the engine on and off a few times and eventually drove a while. The pressure light and ESC stayed on for a while and then after 10 minutes driving they all switched off! The car didn't do into safe mode or anything like that.
