In the past few months I’ve gone through two Garmin Forerunner 220’s, and in both cases the bundled soft strap HRM began to fail in the same peculiar way after about a month (roughly 24 uses). It’s driving me bonkers!
3 day ago HRM-Dual was working on my iphone 7 with ios 14.1, then stopped working connects but no signal. HRM works perfect on other iphones and on the Macbookpro Bluetooth, Garmin ANT+. Did all the tricks, change battery, update to IOS 14.2 , reset network setting, remove add device, reset iphone, etc… nothing works.
That's true for the standalone HRM. As long as it is connected to a Garmin device, and an activity is started, Garmin Connect does show the HR from the strap live. And as for the standalone strap with no other Garmin device to connect to it, if you want to stay with Garmin's software, you can use for example the Tacx app (phone, PC, or Mac).
Garmin HRM Pro locking on cadence. Just Purchased a HRM Pro and used it for the first time today. I wet the electrodes before using and made use it fit well.
