Posted December 19, 2010. Went to the car this morning, de-iced/scarped and let it warm up a little, then cautiously headed out onto our snow-covered roads. Temp gauge was reading -5. Covered around 15 miles and then hit motorway, started to get a little bit of mucky build up on the windscreen so went to wash - nothing. UK/Ireland Location: West Midlands. Posted December 11, 2014. Hi all the front washers have stopped working on my fiesta 2009. The back one still works ok and can hear the pump going in engine bay. But when I try to operate the front washers I get no sound and the wiper doesn't operate either. The front wipers work fine on every other setting. A few weeks ago I went to top up my windscreen fluid reservoir, and owing to the cold, went to put the recommended 1:2 mix on the screenwash. The only thing was, I filled with water first, and accidentally put too much water in and hardly any windscreen wash at all. The washer fluid is not coming out and hasn't been for about a week, although Try not to use washing up liquid in washer bottles as it turns into slime and clogs up. You will have to remove the pipe from the washer bottle and blow it through with a bit of compressed air. It may just be severely froze up and will clear if you run some neat screen wash through. 50:50 or more mix for winter and 25% max for summer BTW

2014 Fiesta SE. Nov 26, 2019. #1. Rear works as expected. Pull stalk and it sprays and can hear the motor. Front does nothing. Press stalk in to operate front and no noise and of course no water. Put a meter on connector and reads 12v on both contacts. When operating either washer one side or the other drops to 0v. Xq1ezl. 860 218 486 440 175 517 122 296
