Suunto chose to put a touch screen on the Suunto 9, which I think was a bad call. It’s slow to respond, and makes the watch difficult to use when wet. Garmin decided wisely to go with a button-only user interface which works reliably in all conditions. Winner: Fenix 6. The Fenix 6 screen is easier to read in sunlight.
The second notable difference between them is the case size options available. Garmin Forerunner 955 comes with only one case size option which has 46,5-mm diameters.
